When she's alone and at peace, she allows herself to think about her. Katherine usually thinks about how she grew up to be like, and often wonders how things would have turned out had she been allowed to keep her child. She often privately thinks about naming her, and usually comes back to Milena. After she was banished to London, Katherine frequently thought about finding her daughter, but then Klaus happened. After she returned to Bulgaria as a vampire only to find her family killed, she gave up on the idea of searching for her child. After that she was too driven by fear and self-preservation, and she would never again set foot on Bulgarian soil if only she could help it due to too many painful memories.
