The back area of the workshop was a veritable forest of twine, each strand a tether leading up to a balloon bobbing against the high ceiling.. One of those tethers, however, was connected to many balloons, which were holding up the present.

With infinite patience, DG tugged at each one. "How long did it take you guys to do this?"

"Maybe four hours?" Glitch suggested in a squeaky voice. He handed an unknotted balloon to Kaylee, who inhaled some of its contents.

"An' two tanks of helium," she added, and then they both giggling like cartoon chipmunks.

DG sighed in mock exaspiration, but couldn't hide her smile as she resumed searching.
