Taxon Tropes
Yes this is very ill-advised but TV Tropes is my jam and I like giggling at things.
To get us started, below the cut are canons with their own pages:
The Boondock Saints
The DC Universe you guys narrow this down ain't nobody got time for that.
Harry Potter
Johannes Cabal the Necromancer
Marvel - X-Men
Once Upon A Time
Yes Mary Renault has a page nothing is safe.
Sherlock
R.A. MacAvoy has a page too lawl
Tin Man which I need to go in and edit because goddamn there are some terrible mispellings.
Go forth and amuse yourselves.
1. Go to TV Tropes
2. REMEMBER TO COME BACK.
3. Share tropes relevant to your character, your canon, the game (ESPECIALLY the game), etc.
4. Hilarity and time-sinking ensues.

"I need to share something with everybody: bagoas in that film is ugly ugly ugly...I read in a book that bagoas was blond, short hair,15 or 16 years old and beautiful face. In that film bagoas has ugly face, long hair like a woman and he looks of 25 or 28 years old!! I mean: what a horrible!!!!! its the truth!!! ssssooorrrryyyy..."
... ... ...yeah.
ANYHOO
Happiness in Slavery ...it isn't entiiiiiiirely accurate, since Bagoas never forgets his heritage, and would choose a different life if he had a bloomin' chance. He's resigned rather than happy, but his mantra is just twigs all my Happiness in Slavery notions. His mantra or personal motto is to always be grateful for what you have (which of course implies that it could always be worse, and boy does he know it). He's happy by necessity. Until Alexander, which brings me neatly tooooo
Stockholm Syndrome. THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG, AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THERE WAS A TV TROPES PAGE FOR THIS OMFG. Even the pic sums up all my feels about sooooo many romance novels/movies/D*sney "classics".
