MUSIC MEME TIEM IS NAO
Oh hey guys, it's been a while since we had a meme like this. :D It's easy peasy, very straightforward, and goes a little something like this:
* comment with a playlist (or a track or two (or as many as you want)) that makes you think of your character(s). It can be thematic or just groovy, or something they themselves love to listen to.
* troll the living daylights out of everyone else's playlists :D
* have fun!
Youtube or other such links are made of wub and awesome, but not necessary.
Peace out, children of the revolution.

Bags
Bagoas would be horrified by the angry-angry-sounding noises and probably go hide in a corner. Since Bagoas is my most overtly sexual character, he gets the "all the Rammstein" cop-out, even if Cain probably deserves it more.
Ahem.
Bagoas' current playlist, as a bodyswapped, straight-back'd, head-held-high, brave-face-firmly-ON Sherlock, consists of a lot of atypical beats.
Like...
Skrillex's First of the Year (Equinox) (for all the grrrr argh energies and fascinating rhythm. /end Fred Astaire references
The Strokes' Heart in a Cage
Sean Paul's Dwali Riddim (oh lord, old summertime hits. personally I love to love-hate this song, while Bagoas would sit and frown intently as he tried ciphering what on earth the man's saying (also, catchy beats are catchy))
Daft Punk (feat. Kanye West)'s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (...without any actual Kanye West!voice desecrating the track >_> oh, me)
Daft Punk's Around the World (hypnotizing, repetitive loops of melodies and beats merging into a whole. mmmmmm)
Run DMC + Jason Nevins It's Like That
Ask for links if you want'em :D Or just browse Youtube at your own leisure!
I might make a less atypical list for him. Later. Stay tuned for moar!

OTHER ADDITIONS:
"Midnight City," M83
"Default," Django Django
"Gangnam Style," Psy. Because why the hell not.
I...don't so much listen to ~mood music~ for anything but, um, ask for song associations and maybe I can whip something up :D?

I have to go dig up my lists for these guys since I haven't had a lot of song/writing time recently.

"I heard that you're settled down
That you found a girl and you're married now
I heard that your dreams came true
Guess she gave you things I didn't give to you
I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded
That for me, it isn't over"

It helps that Amber Riley and Naya Rivera can sing like beasts, unlike many of their costars. *_* But Naya's kind of a rock star altogether.

Billy Joel - You May Be Right
Robbie Williams - Come Undone
The Eagles - Desperado
The Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated
The Cure - Friday I'm In Love
John Rzeznik - I'm Still Here
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody / Don't Stop Me Now
Simon & Garfunkel - I Am A Rock
He'll also have to put up with a dash of Pink and Relient K. I guess for musical credibility you can also have Tom McRae.
Personally I think he would loathe all these choices; my headcanon Sherlock likes Boccherini, failing that, Tartini, failing that, Mozart, and failing that, Daft Punk. He probably would like Rammstein and E Nomine on some secret, closeted level too. He was once 13, after all. Arguably that hasn't stopped.
some classical music geekery, but I'll keep it brief
I wonder what any of the greats, big or small, would say if they knew where their works ended up some 200-500 years later.
I'd like to think they'd be delighted. Mozart, who's always been a bit of a rock star in my eyes? I'm quite sure he'd think it's friggin' awesome.

...and so on and so forth. But in Mozart's case, he'd kind of be right. XD
Sorry, Kanye.

Anyhoo.
I love your list and think it's delightfully fitting.

How it Ends, by Devotchka.
And in your heart you know it to be true
You know what you gotta do
They all depend on you
And you already know
Yeah, you already know how this will end
It seems to fit :)
Safe as Houses, The Weepies
Are you somewhere safe as houses
Mother may I run and hide?
Don't throw stones at other people
Hope your brother's on your side
just a couple :)
