He's like a cross between her sassy gay queer friend and a doting uncle with a dash of being really heavily borken and in need of mending. He's fond of Maddy too, there can totes be tea (or wine as the occassion calls) and quiet company. And talking about boys, and maybe drawing relationship charts for science~
