What can I say that you don't already know? Godric is everything to Eric. He would do anything for him, kill anyone he had to, die for him, if it meant it would help Godric in some way. The love he has for Godric (platonic, romantic, filial, brotherly, etc) outshines even what he feels for Pam. And when it comes down to it, Godric will always be number one. Hands down, no questions asked. Even if he had to choose between his own child and his maker. As much as it would tear him apart, he would still pick Godric. They've been together so long it couldn't be any other way.
