I think the only one she knows is Kirk. This needs to be remedied someday.

kirk → kaylee.
Kirk thinks Kaylee is fun and a nice change from the usual sort of people who get stuck in Taxon in that she has a nice, upbeat personality. It's hard to stay gloomy when speaking with/around Kaylee. Also, she has a spaceship and gets space life, which is another bonus and also something that he doesn't really encounter here.
