[ he allows himself to be guided towards her neck where he attaches his lips, but does not yet shift into his fangs. this was perhaps the hardest thing to get used to, it being okay to bite and to drink. it was something he never allowed himself to do with any of his human - nevermind that sookie wasn't fully human - lovers and never even bothered to find out if they'd be okay with it. vampires bit. it was in their nature and in a strange, twisted sort of way, a gesture of affection in some cases. that which he always held back from doing with others, he could do with sookie. and she was perfectly okay with it and he knew his limits and hers, namely how much blood to take - and he never took too much. just enough. it was fairy blood, after all. better than slayers blood. the little he took when a long way.

angel lifts his head up long enough to push the game face forward and raise one hand to the back of her neck before lowering it back down and gently - as gently as possible - sinks his fangs into her neck. ]

[ the only blood angel's ever tasted that will beat the taste of sookie's blood is what he got from hamilton when he'd tore into the liaison's neck in a desperate attempt to gain the upperhand. but, he'd gulped all that down so quickly that he'd barely got a chance to savor the taste of the blood of higher beings, where here, he takes his time - but of course, doesn't take more than he should. and he soon draws back and shifts back into his human features before he pulls away enough to see her face, licking the remnants of her blood off his lips as he reaches to the side and grabs a dark towel, placing it on her neck over his bite. ]
