angel → elena.
He hasn't been exposed to her much here in Taxon, but so far he thinks she's a nice kid with a boyfriend who doesn't do blood well. ...oh lordy, when he finds out that was just an act, lol. If and when he finds out, I should say. Elena apparently needs to collect more vampires idk.

angel → max.
Powerful. Smart. Quite possibly the most levelheaded person he's met in Taxon. No, seriously. He means that. From what he seen of her so far, she seems to be one of the few (if only, for a while there) capable of passing impartial judgment. For example, she sees that he was a threat, she recognizes that he could be a threat again, but also that he's not a threat right now. Just like with River, knowing that there's someone else out there who would step up and take him down (or out) if needed, should the hamsters decide it's time for Angelus: The Sequel helps put his mind at ease. Angel has a lot of respect for her.

kirk → angela.
Hot. ...what? It's James T. Kirk. He notices such things. (Jim, honey. She is like ten years older than you, sit down.) He doesn't know much about her, beyond her badge, but she's interesting and he would like to get to know here better - not just for her epic hotness, but because she's a fellow person in a position of authority and he doesn't meet too many of those in this place.

kirk → max.
She is quite possibly his closest non-cast friend in Taxon; certainly the person he's known the longest during his time here, now that Buffy's gone. Her quirks are interesting (not weird at all - let's face it, Trek boy has seen and slept with weirder) to him and he has a ton of respect for her. He loves that she's into bikes and things that other girls normally wouldn't and one day, he will sit down and build that bike so they can race. He's also, to be honest, somewhat attracted to her, but given his last relationship and how things ended there and the fact that Max was Buffy's friend, there's some stuff he needs to work through first before he acts on anything, if/when he does. As it stands, she's a really good friend and he doesn't want to lose that.

stefan → elena.
Cavities. These two will one day kill me with cute. Stefan loves Elena. She is, quite literally, his very reason for being after he was ready to give up and just let the sunlight do away with him. Elena's his light in a dark world that's slowly getting darker; his pillar of sanity when things get too intense on the chaotic side of things; his rock. Her being here makes being in Taxon okay. (...Damon, too, if we're being honest.) It's dangerous back home, more so than he realizes given his canon point is, while further along than the rest of the cast, before it's revealed that Elena dying is the key to breaking the sun and the moon curse. Here, she's safer than she was in Mystic Falls. All Stefan wants is to keep her safe. He's also terribly whooped. They may fight sometimes and disagree, like couples do, but when it comes down to it, Stefan would saw his hand off if she asked him to. Overall, she's good for him. She knows what he is, who he is, about Damon, about the things he's done (well, most of them; his story is a long and complicated one), about Katherine; seen him at his best and at his worst-- And he doesn't have to hide. He can be himself and her acceptance of him practically sealed the deal where these two are concerned.
