angel → river. Angel has a lot of respect for River, for she did what no-one else was either willing or capable of during the time he was glitched soulless: took him down. It puts him at ease to know that she could do it again (though he's like "..." at her peering at him from around corners, River creep less) if the aliens decided to flip that switch again and make his soul go poof. He's eternally grateful to her for what she did. And now, he has a lot of new found admiration for her in how she manages to function with a mind such as hers after being stuck in her body during the glitch. If ever given the chance, Angel would tell River that he thinks she's one remarkable young woman.
stefan → river. River is confusing. Interesting, but something of a puzzle. He doesn't question her presence too much, because she manages to hold Damon's attention for longer than a handful of minutes, which is a feat within itself and something Stefan, while he'll never admit to it, is grateful for. An entertained Damon is a Damon who isn't killing people out of boredom, so thank you, River. That said, he's annoyed that she keeps getting into his things and reading his journals, but at the same time happy to ask her questions. ...that aren't about personal things better left forgotten on the pages of dusty diaries.
