Personality: He's super friendly and super suspicious! THE PERFECT SECRET AGENT. No but seriously, um--kind of nosy, but nosy under the guise of being concerned or helpful, et cetera. But a good dude, DEEP DOWN.
Type of CR: I mean, anything. Like seriously. LIKE SERIOUSLY. Good, bad, awesome, terrible--anything.
Any future plans for them? I figure I should make plans so that I can suggest some stuff, but I haven't really seen enough of the game to know what a wise direction is for him. SO PLANS ARE LOOSE.
Other notes: He's working hard on figuring out the network (encryption, anonymous messaging, anything that's going to A) hide him and B) expose other people), so if there's any other techie nerdbirds hanging around, that might be a good bonding point. aaaaah, MAN, his hobbies include...SCIENCE? He likes sketching, but mostly like buildings and roads and urban stuff--straight-lines, simple perspective. So the city is pretty rich material for that, and I might have him sitting around getting some of that done. It's mostly a relaxation thing. : |

Glitch has a storied history with Killjoys and so will be all up in Ghoul's shit once his brain isn't scrambled and his girlfriend isn't evil. He's also a SCIECNE guy and has like a lab and workshop which is totally available for breaking into or other sorts of snooping.

Player Name: Keri
Character: Glitch • Tin Man • aintnoconvict

Personality: ...oh lord. To understand Glitch now is going to take some context SO: back in his world he had half his brain stolen and all manner of other awful things happened to him, most of which he doesn't remember. He developed a ridiculous optimism-based system of defense mechanisms to cope. Last summer he made a deal with the aliens to get his brain back so he could remember stuff better, and they helped him out with a faux-replacement brain. This gave him clear memories of canon and his life in Taxon and full use of his intelligence, which means he suddenly had to process two years worth of jamjar RP game horrors and was able to really fully understand it all.

This jaded his optimism a bit, but at least now he's not actively bonkers anymore mostly. He's been in the city longer than anyone else and feels some sort of wacky compulsion to aid and protect his fellow kidnappees. When he's not letting himself be bogged down by this assumed responsibility, Glitch is ever curious, helpful, funny, sometimes snarky, easy-going, and fiercely loyal.

He enjoys dancing, sleeping in, inventing things, and making dubious improvements to other electronics. He lives at the Northern Island with DG, Bagoas, and sometimes Madelyene maybe I think, and works at Langwe & Gale's Mechanical.

Type of CR: I am open to all the things! He's one of those friends-or-at-least-acquaintances with everybody types, and he lvoes having inventy projects to work on, and he doesn't mind having his brain picked about Taxon-related theories so curious/philosophical types can get up on that.

Any future plans for them? Horrors tend to happen to him A LOT I am in need of some light-heartedness. Seriously the only plans I have right now involve helping Cain decorate his new place and accidentally crashing on the couch and maybe some horseback riding. EXCITING.

Also he's going to be both deliriously excited and terrified over having a jet pack, because on the one hand AWESOME and on the other hand he's scared of heights. So.

Other notes: ....I already tl;dr'd a lot about Glitch, i do this a lot. Ask questions, I'll answer!

Personality: Curious. Intelligent. Understanding. Stubborn. Optimist. Loyal. Ariadne is pretty much all of that, wrapped up into this small unassuming package of hers. She has a tendency to be slightly cautious now though – assuming this could just be some odd dream; she has no idea how to approach things (something she isn’t all too fond of) now.

Type of CR: Any and all! Honestly I have a love for all different types. Ariadne is more then willing to push buttons to get what she wants and she is also willing to make friends. So give me your CR ;)

Any future plans for them? For now, Ariadne really seems to be focused on just trying to understand as much as she can about this place. All while trying to figure out just who may be a projection and just who may not. So honestly I’m willing to plot a few things for her to do if anyone has ideas.

Other notes: She really is nosy and for that I’m sorry. As she honestly can rub people the wrong way at times. But she does mean well for the most part, she just wants to try and understand as much as she can.

Character: DG • Tin Man • tothelightshown

Personality: A stubborn and headstrong princess type with a motorbike and magical powers. Not afraid to rush into danger armed with nothing more than a stick and her willpower. Ridiculously laidback about everything except harm that has been done to her friends and the city temporarily turning her evil.
Type of CR: Friends are always welcome, but, given the nature of her most recent / current glitch, enemies might be fun as well. I like the idea of her having to earn back the trust of people she tried to kill or enslave as the witch.
Any future plans for them? Well, the glitch will be over soon. (I think you want to resolve exactly how it will be ending to free Glitch, Keri?) After that, anything can happen.
Other Notes: She won't always be as angry and angsty as she will be in the aftermath of her glitch, honest!

Character: Drusilla (AU) • Buffy the Vampire Slayer • a_pretty_fire

Personality: She's a vampire with a great many issues and she likes to eat people both to fill her stomach and because it's fun. Unfortunately for Drusilla, she currently had a chip in her head that prevents her from physically harming humans. She lives for the day when that will be removed, freeing her up for a nice bloody rampage.
Type of CR: Well, friends are complicated for a Drusilla - she doesn't have a soul, for a start, and her ideas of what is nice are very different to what other people would consider nice - but friends are welcome. And frenemies. And enemies. Anything and everything.
Any future plans for them? I want her to fly around in a jet pack. Someone may need to rescue her when she decides that she prefers it in the clouds and never wants to come back down.
Other Notes: As the chip in her head suggests, she's an AU version of the character. Also, don't mess with Miss Edith or she will find a way to hurt you.

Character: Martha Jones • Doctor • allthatlife

Personality: A formerly time travelling doctor who worked with aliens on a daily back in her own world. Has very strong ideas - particularly about right and wrong - and will never stop being a helpful doctor type.
Type of CR: As much as I love friends for her, I want her to have people to argue with most of all.
Any future plans for them? Nothing at the moment! Help me to change that!
Other Notes: She is the city's only resident doctor at the moment, so any injured parties are welcome to contact me - and her - for help.

Character: Wyatt Cain • TIN MAN • hasaheart (because he actually has one, and I wanted that user name way back when I created his account and finally!! FINALLY it's mine, all mine)

Personality: To someone who doesn't know him, he'll probably seem like an uptight automaton with an attitude problems. But once you get past the initial distrust and grunting, he's a total teddy bear. Honest.
Type of CR: Cain needs more friends. Period. The distrust and paranoia are so draining, and he could really use a break from himself every now and then. Get out of his comfort zones, see that it's okay to let loose outside his close-knit circle of trust.
Any future plans for them? He just got a job! As a gardener/handyman/fixer-of-things! Anything needs doing around the house or garden, he's your guy! :D Aaaand on a more interpersonal level, he's gonna have to have a chat with Paul after the big, massively bad fight.
Other notes: Superpowers? No. Though, being from a magical land where its inhabitants are known for living forever (no, not actually forever, but they sure never seem to die of natural causes), he's hard to kill. Even in the Oz remake, he survived the most insane things.
As for hobbies, Cain's at his happiest if/when he can work with his hands. He finds it soothing to see something take shape, be it bread or a sapling growing bigger every day, or even adding to a pile of chopped wood. He loves music, and not-entirely-secretly enjoys dancing (with men or women, doesn't matter, go go O.Z headcanon re: social structures and all sorts of stuff).

Character: Bagoas, son of Artembares, son of Araxis • The Persian Boy • thepersianyouth ...see how clever I was with his username XD

Personality: Oh wow. Quick blurb, hm? Bagoas is submissive, not by nature but by socialization and training as a servant. He's a massive ball of past trauma-shaped yarn, but he's also proud of his past as well as his present. He keeps a humble, positive attitude at most times, but is easily confused by your modern ways, Taxonites. Have fun with that.

Type of CR: I always say this, but: All the CR. I'm having a blast playing him, and I'd love to see both more cultural misunderstandings, as an easing into friendship type thing.

Any future plans for them? One of these days, he'll have a small business of his own, be it as a teacher/instructor or as some sort of craftsmanship-er/artisan, I don't know yet. But (his quirky gay self-proclaimed uncle albeit behind the 4th wall) Remus planted a seed in his mind to that effect, and it shall grow.

Other notes: Uhhh. He's my token girly character? I don't know. He doesn't really have hobbies, and he certainly doesn't have super powers apart from the ability to confuzzle people with his genderqueerness, even if that hasn't even happened yet what is this place. He likes pretty things, sparkly trinkets and fine fabrics, and tries to make himself look his best every day. His vanity is his biggest flaw and stems from a big giant gaping hole of insecurity.

He used to be a slave, sold and bought solely for his beauty. On the one hand, it's been his ticket to some pretty amazing bits of history, but it's also bought him some of the most horrendous abuse over the years. He wants to be pretty, because he's never had anything else of value. At the same time, he isn't entirely uncomfortable with being noticed.

He's sort of a Gordian knot of cleverly disguised juxtapositions.

Player Name: Sof'
Character: Mick St. John • Moonlight • ownlittleprison, taken directly from the show, from a scene where Mick is cornered by a newly released serial killer psycho that crossed paths with him in the 'eighties and knows his secret. Psycho guy makes the actually quite accurate observation that being a vampire, Mick's fancy flat and everything else to do with his life is his "own little prison". It struck me as juuust fitting enough.

Personality: In Vampire: The Masquerade terms (before they changed the entire thing around a few years ago), Mick is a vampire with a very high Humanity ranking. In Western terms, if you're more familiar with that, he's a White Hat. In terms of what the show is, a pulp/noir/vampire/drama/detective type series, he's a P.I who gets the job done, even when it takes a bit of dirty work, like breaking and entering or bullying creeps, or even taking out other vampires who have somehow broken the unwritten rules of the vampire community. He's a hero, but an ever so slightly tainted one.

He's like Angel, but without the forehead and (quite so much of) the brooding. He's also a bit of a geek in disguise, which I love.

Type of CR: More bromancing with Josef. More tip-toeing around Beth (and Gwen, goodness me, Gwen and her hitting all his weird little heart strings in confusing ways). I'd particularly like to see him do something crazy. Not sure what yet.

...maybe he'll nab a jetpack for himself. >_> Just so he can say he gone dunnit.

Any future plans for them? Not at the moment, no. I'm gonna have a rewatch of Moonlight over the next week, see if I can't think of something.

I was planning on giving him a canon update soon, though. I might do that just to get him past the "God I hate my life why do my two best friends think I'm insane or hit my head one too many times?" every time he mentions timelines and such. XD

Other notes: HE'S A TREKKER. SO AM I. He's also a bit of a tech geek, in that he loves all the technological improvements of the last few decades. Tivo, WoW, Google, cell phones, i-anything, computers, you name it. He loves it all and finds it absolutely fascinating. '50s guy playing with '00s toys.

Character: Josef • Moonlight • loveawkward

Personality: Josef is a baby faced vampire with a tarnished heart of gold. Well he did have that until he bartered it for eternity maybe. He is friendly enough though socially awkward at times, but most of Josef's kindness is often a disguise for getting what he wants. Most recently a hedge fund manager that came out on top of it all, Josef is a man used to the finer things in life, no matter what the cost though he's finding here that isn't getting him far.

Type of CR: Josef is and will be looking for those willing to donate to his diet. Either by needle and bag or face to face donor. Beyond that, I am up for anything and being a supporting player in any plots that might need them.

Also working on coming up with a plan for work for Josef to do as eventually he'll get bored without minions and money and models lounging around the pool. Hell, he misses that already.

Any future plans for them? Josef will be finding a home soon, and hoping to do somethings with him in the future, including a possible issue with his past kills and his failure turning the love of his life. I also like the idea of a loss of control at some point and the fall out from that after.

Character: Madelyne Pryor • X-men • genequeen

Personality: Maddy is emotional. Whatever she's feeling she feels ALL THE WAY. Sometimes this is good. Sometimes this is bad. It is always full of the feelings and she is ridiculously loyal.
Type of CR: I am open. She tries to keep her powers in reserve but it is always fun to get to show off some. I'm expecting that she will have something going on.
Any future plans for them? Eventually, she's going to have to go all Goblyn Queen 'You Will All Worship Me' crazy. I think that's a way down the line and probably involved some heartbreak or something between here and then. Whenever that happens.
Other notes: Maddy is a telepath and a telekinetic. She's a much better telekinetic than she is a telepath. She is /very/ leery of breaking ethical boundaries because she's been evil in the past and would really prefer people don't view her that way here, thanks. (Even though they should all be aware that she's been evil just in case and have some sort of emergency plan in case it happens again. Does everyone have Scott on speed dial? You should really do that....)

Character: Spike! • Buffy The Vampire Slayer• loves_bitch

Personality: Spike is sort of a contradiction. He's a punk rebel who, really, is just looking for a strong personality to curb those rebel tendencies. Or a strong personality to give him a cause to unleash those rebel tendencies toward. He gravitates toward strong women, typically. He's stubborn and he sticks with people and things until they're done - especially if there is a challenge involved.
Type of CR: With Spike especially, I am open to just about whatever. He's lots of fun at parties.
Any future plans for them? Spike will probably need to explore this whole brand new world of feeding. He's been, more recently, mostly dealing with animal blood but he's generally concerned about this 'bottles from the wall' thing. He won't admit it but it freaks him out and people are mostly on the /no/ list - unless they volunteer. ..... Any one interested in coming up with a deal here?
Other notes: Pretty much every strong woman (sans Darla) that has been in his life is here right now. Spike lives in terror that they're all going to get together and talk about him or compare notes or something. Spike's player thinks his is a hilarious idea.

Personality: She's sneaky, sarcastic, selfish, sexy/confident/knows it, holy crap apparently I'm just working with s-words today. She's jaded about a lot of stuff, has a big ol' chip on her shoulder about her electricity powers--and yet ironically they're the thing about her she's MOST comfortable with. Like riding a bicycle. Oh, and she's morally gray. She was a professional thief for a living, yo.

Type of CR: Oh, wow. Good question. Everything! It's VERY HARD for me to acquire deep, positive CR because of Gwen's stupid walls. She's never really had friends, and the ones she did...uh, she royally betrayed them because she's selfish. (Party Poison, congrats for just about breaking through. I adore that relationship so much.) That being said, I think what I'm looking for can definitely be achieved through some kind of...common-ground reaching. I want it all. Antagonistic/negative CR is always fun too! And I think that in certain situations where ideals clash, anything could be achieved.

So in short? All = welcome.

Any future plans for them? DUDE Gwen doesn't have a job. I head!Taxon!canon that she steals stuff when she REALLY has to. But I avoided the job because thieving was always her job and I cannot see her, like...doing anything, and I don't think she'd "stoop" that low. She's one step away from being like ATTN: DOES ANYONE NEED MY SERVICES. ALSO the confrontation with Long must happen. And The Dealing With Stuff.

Other notes: She's probably pick-pocketing from you and stuff.

Personality: generally friendly, especially if you're a plant person; typically flirtatious if you're a woman anywhere near his age; suffering from PTSD (only known to one or two people in Taxon); smart and conscientious, but he often hides it beneath a few layers of playfulness
Type of CR: all the CR! Briar will give you plants, make you medicines, understand your ridiculous slang, make friends, casually hop into bed with you if he finds any takers
Any future plans for them? Not at the moment, aside from at some point inviting everyone he knows over for a meal.
Other notes: Briar's really connected to plants; he's a gardener, but he can also talk to them and sense things from them.



Character: Skysong "Kitten" • Tamora Pierce's Tortall books • skysung

Personality: friendly, curious, competent, a bit pushy when she's trying to learn something or get something done
Type of CR: BRING ME YOUR CHARACTERS. Kit tends to prefer in person interactions, since her claws are not cut out for typing. This dragon will befriend pretty much anyone who treats her like a being capable of intelligent thought and carries on a good conversation with her.
Any future plans for them? More CR! Also, pending discussion with mods, I may want her to try breaking magical creatures (winged monkeys, unicorns) out of the Taxon zoo. I should... message mods to find out about the logistics of this.
Other notes: Kit does not speak human, but she understands human language. She communicates primarily via tone of voice and body language, typing when those don't get the results she wants.

Personality: Arthur is a neat, to-the-point stick in the mud. He just takes his job very seriously, even if it's a morally dubious one, and while he does have a laid-back side it's buried under layers and layers of SHUT UP EAMES and BABYSITTING COBB. It's hard to get out.
Type of CR: Suspicion. Dear god. Arthur is shady, even if he's good at hiding it.
Any future plans for them? Building a PASIV, which means he might even get a job (gasp!)
Other notes: Headcanon is that he's a closet nerd, blah blah. I also want to point out that this is my first time playing Arthur so if I fail at it LET ME KNOW PLEASE. Also:

Character: Party Poison • Danger Days • killtheparty

Personality: Over-dramatic, overly-paranoid, has a go button and no stop button. Loud and stubborn and well-intentioned, just.. you know. A butt.
Type of CR: FRIENDS. ENEMIES. Saying 'everything' is such a cop out with Party but honestly he's been here for soooo long.
Any future plans for them? I've been honestly thinking of him doing a Killjoy Courier service, especially with Ghoulio here. He's also going to probably be constructing a mailbox because honestly TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE LEAVING HIM.
Other notes:

Illyria

Player Name: Steph again
Character: Illyria • Angel • blue_bird

Personality: Ex-god. She's...something else. You really have to put yourself in her shoes to understand her, or sympathize her (as hard as she makes that). She has the persona of someone who essentially ruled the earth eons ago, and now she's woken up in a world swarming with "lower beings" and she's crammed in a human body. She doesn't know how to behave, how to live, what to consider herself. Who is she? Is she Illyria, god-king of the primordium? Is she a disease who infected a human girl? Is she, with her memories of Fred in the back of her mind, just a shell of the human girl, and not the other way around? There's a duality that rules her, and it's really, really frustrating. That's, in a condensed version, why Illyria is the way she is.


Type of CR: LOTS. She'll always think you suck for being human, or vampire, or what have you. She won't care about your feelings. But you can impress her, and her need to understand things (and herself) makes her very reach-outable. So yes, any and all CR.

Any future plans for them? The only thing I'm thinking is I'd like to have her break down at one point. In the comics!verse, when things go to hell, it has a physical effect on Illyria. She gets all her powers back, she starts uncontrollably time jumping and morphing into Fred (in the most inconvenient times), she just seriously starts breaking down. But I don't think it would just happen randomly (unless it's a glitch) so I might wait for something to go down in Taxon that might kick-start it into gear. Maybe I'll glitch her into Fred for a week or so? Eh, idk. We'll see!

Other notes: I kind of want to canon update her but I'd want to research all the comics she's featured in, and she's featured in a LOT and I don't have them. So right now I'm going with the flow, and I'll develop her on my own time. =)

Personality: Remus is very friendly, very helpful and extremely calm in most situations. He can get a bit mercurial at the full moon, but he always works hard to be inoffensive.
Type of CR: In depth? I love threads with lots of conversation? I really don't know how to answer this one.
Any future plans for them? Well, clearly, I must do horrific things with the fact he's a werewolf.
Other notes: I AM NOT GOOD AT THESE THINGS.


Character: Scott Summers • X-Men Comics • no_rose_tint

Personality: Serious, bossy, hyper protective and a total workaholic who sadly can't find work organising militia vigilante groups here.
Type of CR: This one again! I don't know how to answer this!
Any future plans for them? ... not really. I like hurting Scott a lot however, so I'm open to ideas.
Other notes: A lot of problems can be solved with eye lasers and a steely glare of disapproval.

Personality: Fairly chipper, with a bit of a dark side. Likes to hit things, and tends to use snark to parry Serious conversation.

Any future plans for them? turning into a vamp for a bit might be hilarious. Will happily take suggestions.
Other notes: Buffy does Not Have a Good Opinion of Angel right now. Not for awhile, actually. He Done Her Wrong (mostly by leaving nasty scars). She is also getting desperately antsy from having an Ordinary Life, which should tell her something about how much being a Normal Girl would work for her.

Also, I kind of want another char, but other than Jean (for the hilarity of Twinsies!Drama with Maddy), am coming up dry.

Character: Willow Rosenberg • Buffy: the Vampire Slayer • slayersidekick

Personality: Generally friendly, stutters a bit, very powerful witch, still getting used to her powers. once she makes a friend, she keeps them pretty much for life. or until something big screws it up. she's been here long enough that she's a bit jaded with regard to the aliens, but she feels for the rest of the residents, especially the newbies. she can also be a bit of a hothead and is defensive of her magic, since it's her defining characteristic.
Type of CR: anything, honestly. i welcome positive and negative cr
Any future plans for them? she works tamper and trick, the magic shop, and is always looking for help. pondering futurer glitches, but nothing's set in stone yet

Personality: She's a sweet woman, but not prone to believing everything she's fed anymore. She also doesn't take kindly to people who lie to her...

Any future plans for them? Not really sure at the moment. May ponder a glitch in the future, but as she just had her canon update of doom, she's still settling back in.
Other notes: She's working the Dodgy Jammer now that Fitz has gone :c And Buffy's working for her, but if anyone else wants in, by all means, let me know and we can work it out :3

Personality: Hotheaded, snarky, and trigger happy, basically describes Ashley XD
Type of CR: Anything! She needs things to do, basically. Anyone want to explore Taxon with her? Or spar with her?
Any future plans for them? Pondering a Cabal glitch in the future /headinhands. because i am clearly the worst.
Other notes: Currently not working, this may change at some point. She likes exploring, though, so she'll probably be doing a whole lot of that...

Any future plans for them? Not at the moment, other than resolving some of the fallout from Horrors
Other notes: Paul is slightly OOC because he technically got killed/was dying when he got warped to Taxon. This saves me from havi to acknowledge the second movie which I almost unadulteratedly loathe.
